Happy Birth Day Baby McKenna

I’m a little late on this one but what the heck, better late than never right?!

McKenna Taylor Anne

My beautiful little niece McKenna came into this world at the end of June and was instantly surrounded by family. I was there as proud auntie to capture the moments and my husband Rob actually Tweeted about it, more on that later, keep reading. Here we all are with the star of the day, little baby McKenna.

Baby Named After Edmonton Oilers Draft Pick Taylor Hall

My brother in law Troy is a HUGE Edmonton Oilers NHL hockey fan! I can’t stress that enough her folks. So much so that they didn’t finalize little McKenna’s middle name until after the Oiler’s made their first round draft pick.  I took the photo below seconds after they picked Taylor Hall and so it was to be – McKenna Taylor Anne.

Dad after the draft pick, think he was happy about the Oiler's' choice?

Rob Tweeted about it and CTV News got a hold of him and I sent them a few still photos to use on the late night news and they sent a camera crew to interview the happy family the next day.  So only hours old and she was already famous and on TV!

Story that ran on CTV's web site

The rest of the story can speak for itself with the images below.  Enjoy!
