Story of my journey to Peru 2007
Saint Augustine said “The world is a book. Those that do not travel read only one page.” After 3 weeks in Peru I think I read a whole chapter and it makes me want to read more. Our private womans tour group began in Lima, then visited Cusco, the Sacred Valley and machu picchu. Our group brought supplies for a childrens charity and we hiked up into the mountains to bring them new shoes and prepare hot chocolate for them.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Darlene has had formal training in photography at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. She enjoys portraits, fine art and travel photography and now shares her skills through private photo tutoring. Darlene is an award winning Canadian photographer nominated for Photographer of the Year in 2007. Darlene has provided her skills as a photography judge on many occasions for the PPOC.
