Story of my journey to Peru 2007

Saint Augustine said “The world is a book. Those that do not travel read only one page.” After 3 weeks in Peru I think I read a whole chapter and it makes me want to read more. Our private womans tour group began in Lima, then visited Cusco, the Sacred Valley and machu picchu. Our group brought supplies for a childrens charity and we hiked up into the mountains to bring them new shoes and prepare hot chocolate for them.

She is a seasoned traveler having spent time in Mexico, Singapore, Malaysia, Peru, Thailand, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Cuba and Australia. Darlene loves exotic locales, exotic food and experiencing different countries directly through the local people and the cultural arts.
